A few years ago, the founders of Enliven, Mitchell Tate and Michael Lee,
traveled to Tahiti with their families. Not knowing before hand what they might
find, they were searching for something that might speed up the recovery of
people being treated at Mitch’s Center for Lifestyle Disease and
Rehabilitation. This trip resulted in the modern-day discovery of the most
significant botanical in decades: NONI.
While attending a private luau held in their honor, Mitch and Mike were
introduced to a strange looking fruit that their Tahitian hosts called
“Polynesian Medicine”. The entire Noni plant had been used successfully by
Polynesians healers for thousands of years. Yet despite this usage, Noni was

After sharing Noni with many of his patients upon his return home, Mitch was

When asked why noni works, Polynesians readily admit they do not know why. A few
pharmaceutical companies tried to isolate the “active ingredient” of Noni,
and failed.
Three researchers received the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1998 for their
discovery that Nitric Oxide, a biological gas, is a signaling molecule involved
in “controlling the circulation of the blood, regulating activities of the
brain, lungs, liver, kidneys, stomach and other organs." It acts in many
tissues to regulate “a seemingly limitless range of functions in the body”
